Prince Moussa and Sankoum Cissokho, two brothers from a West African Griot dynasty, along with exceptional musicians Toni Schiavano, Flo Reichle, and Olli Rath, create a powerful blend of West African tradition and captivating modern melodies with their personal connection and innovative style.

Prince Moussa Cissokho

Prince Moussa Cissokho, born in 1983 in Dakar, Senegal into a traditional Griot musician family, began singing and learning the Kora at a young age, later touring for 13 years as a percussionist with the Ballet National du Senegal across Africa, Asia, and Europe; now residing in Austria, he continues to perform globally with various ensembles.

Olli Rath

Oliver Rath, born in 1982 and raised in Lustenau/Vorarlberg, is a versatile guitarist with classical and electric guitar training from the Vorarlberg State Conservatory, currently performing internationally with various ensembles and artists such as Peter Madsen, David Helbock, and Six-on-Six Guitars, while also being a dedicated studio and live sound engineer who toured with Joe Zawinul.

Sankoum Cissokho

Like his elder brother Moussa, he grew up in the tradition of the Cissokho family and was also taught by his father. Sankoum's kora playing is characterized by deep expressiveness, combining finesse, elegance, and virtuosity. He has been living in Geneva since 2009 and has established himself in the Swiss cultural scene. He tours across Europe and Asia and has shared the stage with Salif Keita, Femi Kuti, Orchestra Baobab, Geneva Camerata, Thiken Jah Fakoly and Xalam II. Since 2007 he has produced and released seven albums under his own name and also serves as the producer of the latest album 'Kumpa' by Prince Moussa Cissokho.

Flo Reichle

Grew up in the Zurich area, drummer, percussionist and beat maker Flo Reichle immersed himself in Switzerland's finest music scenes. Flo has played and continues to perform clubs and festival gigs all over Europe, Asia, Africa and Brazil. His searching open mind, energetic and dynamic playing helped establish his very own sound and touch.

Toni Schiavano

Toni Schiavano, deeply rooted in Bern's funk, soul, and hip-hop culture, is renowned for his soulful bass lines that have enhanced numerous studio productions and led him on tours across Europe, Brazil, and South Africa, showcasing his boundless musical curiosity through collaborations with a vast array of artists.

Willi Hauenstein

His specialty is the melodic drum grooves from Ghana. Through countless study visits to the West African country, he has become an expert in Ghanaian drum culture. Willi has toured all over Europe with his Afro Soul band Emashie. He is a percussionist for the Kenyan singer Claudia Masika, for the world music band Bouye, and for the Zurich Afrobeat combo Konkolo Orchestra.
